Situated in Northwestern Hungary, adjacent to the Austrian and Slovakian borders, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hungary will be a premier entertainment resort, combining a variety of “Vegas-style” games, electrifying entertainment, luxurious accommodations, and international dining and shopping.

Hard Rock International has announced an agreement with EuroVegas Hungary Ltd, owned by Asamer Group and Supersberger Group, to develop Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hungary, a premium integrated world-class resort.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hungary, expected to open in early 2012, will ultimately have more than 600 guestrooms, including a variety of suites such as the brand’s Rock Star Suites, which are tailored and customized for the rock star at heart.  The new location will also feature a Hard Rock Casino providing a Vegas-style gambling experience with a variety of options of table games and slot machines.

Additional amenities will include a pool and deck for lounging and entertainment, a Rock Spa for relaxing and “detoxing” and a Rock Shop, where guests can check out the brand’s authentic rock ‘n’ roll gear and merchandise. Additional highlights will also include signature restaurants and bars, a convention center, concert venue, nightclub, high-end retail shopping and over 2500 parking spaces.

The economy, which was growing at near double-digit rates a year ago, registered a more modest 2.5 percent growth rate for the first quarter of 2009, according to government figures released last week. Leaders of the real-estate development sector, which has powered the country’s economic expansion for the past five years by producing more than $1 billion in new construction annually, now predict as many as 60,000 workers could be out of a job by the end of the year. With the costs of petroleum going down, the price of cement, steel and
other construction materials tanking, the only commodities that have
experienced in increase in price is food and gold.  The increase in
food prices and the increase in agricultural incentives in panama has
seen a recent upsurge in demand for agricultural land in Panama.  With
many rich farmland throughout panama such as is the case in the cocle
province just 1 hour away from panama city, the demand for land from
locals as well as foreigners continue to rise.

In areas close to Penonome towards the hills in areas such as Tambo
there is vast amounts of land being used for orange plantations, with
over 1200 hectares of valencia oranges planted in this area.  There is
also a new orange processing plant for “Panama’s Best” orange juice and
in the months of January we should see the plant very busy due to
harvest season.  This areas rich and fertile soil is also very popular
for the plantation of other products such as pepper plantations,
vanilla plantations, coffee, bananas, and hardwood trees such as teak,
mahogany and oak.

and they told us that recently they have seen an increase in demand for
farms that have teak already planted due to the tax incentives that
panama provides for teak investments and/or farmland.  Cattle raising
is also very popular in these areas with land parcels with great forage
planted on them and a plentiful amount of water from numerous rivers
and brooks throught these areas.  There are other areas in this
province that are also very popular for farming and rural residential
developments projects such as is the case in la pintada and Miraflores
where there is a rural residential project with larger than acre lots
with a “hobby farm” feel and the Palmar river running through the
back.  These areas represent great retirement opportunities since land
can be purchased as low as $4.00/meter for parcels with infrastructure
such as access, electricity, water and even internet.

Although prices of Apartments in Panama city, Panama are beginning to soften up, panama beachfront property continues to hold its value if not increase. With much interest from world renown hotel chains expressing interest in coming to Panama, Panama’s Beaches seem to be their primary target. With a Sheraton project slated for Punta Chame, some talks about a Four Seasons in either Chame or San Carlos, a Bristol Hotel (Part of a leading hotel of the world) opening soon in Buenaventura, a Nikki Beach Hotel in Playa Blanca, and also the announcement of a 500 room Hard Rock Hotel in the area of Playa Blanca, it looks like Panama Beachfront Property will continue to rise on the international real estate marketplace.

Just as Costa Rica beachfront property experience a surge in the early 90’s Panama’s beaches are bound to continue to fetch top prices and have a high demand. Senator Barack Obama was elected tonight to be the 44th president of the United States of America with over 338 electoral votes, more than any other electoral votes since Lyndon Johnson.  In a landslide win over John McCain Barack Obama took the country by storm.  In a speech from the Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix Arizona, John McCain congratulated the new president elect Obama and asked his followers to support their new President and called for a support from everyone to have hope and never quit.

hundreds of thousands of followers attended Grand Park in Chicago Illinois to hear their new President Elect give his first speech from the city of his headquarters.  The first African American president to be elected as president of the United States President Barack Obama will now lead the country and inherit a Country with a huge economy crisis that is currently in war.

The feelings of all americans seems to be one of glorious hope in their new president that will be sworn into office on January 20th, 2009 and everyone seems to be pretty motivated.  After eight years of President Bush leadership the american people are prepared for a Change which was Senator Obamas’ campaign.  We wish President Elect Obama the best of luck and strenght during these coming years and look forward to calling his attention to the Free Trade Agreement with Panama.
